Lord,
Knowing you can be scary.
You have all the power, you make all the rules, you are in complete control, and you welcome me to know you personally.
That is a lot of power and it is scary to know someone in that position.
But God, you care about me. You know me, you want a relationship with me. You want me to trust and believe in you.
I want that. I want to have this amazing relationship with you. I want your Holy Spirit to be more transparent in me than me.
God,
I think I am surrounded by false things about you. I cannot trust everything that is said who you are, is who you are. I can read false books, I can listen to false pastors, I can twist the words of the Bible to say things that you didn't say. And I can do all these wrong doing while thinking I am on the right path.
So now, I pray, as I read, listen, study and grow that you will keep me with you. That you will give me the discernment to see false things and the ability to walk in truth.
God, you are everything and you have everything. Keep me with you. Keep me with your truth. Protect me from all false things in this world when it comes to who you are.
