Getting Settled #midwestjobinterview

I made it to camp. My connecting flight was great. I watched half of "The Intern" preparing myself for the week.

I flew into a small airport. An airport that was surrounded by farmland, I'm pretty sure that there aren't any sky scapers around, there were only really really old people on my flight. I went outside to get picked-up by 2 people I didn't know, that made me a little nervous that I was getting picked up by people I didn't know.

They pulled up in their minivan; I met Gabby and Travis. Gabby currently has the job that I am applying for; I learned a lot about them on our car ride. I really like them. They gave me some pretty good insight of things at camp. They are both leaving on good terms here and have plans to volunteer every summer for the next couple of years.

We are very different, but I think that we could be friends.

The building I am staying in is nice, and huge, all within 1 space is there group housing (where I'm staying) dining hall, camp offices, and gym and maybe some other things. Its a big area, all of it is nice as well. There is lots of work accents, which is nice.

I don't know what tomorrow is going to look like. I am nervous about it. I think I will have lots of down time, which I don't know what you do with down time at a camp when you are interviewing.

I also didn't eat any dinner tonight, and I only had a small lunch. I am really really hugary! I just ate a granola bar from by back pack, hopefully that will hold me over until morning.

I feel a little bored right now, I guess I should go to bed. I wish I had someone here to process this with me. But it will be okay, I need to get a good nights sleep and be ready for whatever tomorrow may bring.
