upgrading my phone

I did something out of character for me on Thursday.

I ordered the brand new iPhone on its release date.

This is very unlike me. I am shocked at myself. I am using my 4s IPhone that I got in 2012, which was also my first iPhone. Most of the time I do not have a personal computer, and until 6 months ago, I never owned a flat screen tv.

I am not a technology person. I don't like to take technology risks because I don't understand that world and I get scared of making a big financial mistake with these new gadgets. I also don't want my life to be all about technology, and I lose grip with what is going on around me.

Anyway. I feel like I made a big step in life. I order the new iPhone on the day that it was released. I should come in the mail tomorrow, and I am SO PUMPED!!!

Outside of a terrible battery life, my little iphone4S has been good to me, I have mostly enjoyed our journeys together, but man, I am so excited to say goodbye and embrace the iPhone SE as my new communications companion!

I feel proud of myself in embracing the journey of figuring out how to upgrade my phone and taking the steps to make it happen. I am a little fearful still that I made a big mistake, but mostly I am excited to face my fear of upgrading and getting a new phone that I have been dreaming of (seriously, the new iPhone SE is exactly everything I wanted in a phone--pumped that apple made it just for me)
